“Bandhan Gold program” is our monthly loyalty program for our best customers. Where you will be part of a privileged group of METRO customers who will now enjoy special benefits and services offered exclusively to our METRO Bandhan members

What Monetary Benefit will I get if I am a Gold Customer?
This program help you earn more profits, if you purchase more from us. We introduce to you a tailor-made Bonus program that suits your business cycle.

This Bonus program entitles you to earn bonus rewards:
Upto 2% on your METRO purchases

The details of the Bonus program are as follows:

  • Bonus is not applicable on any special/negotiated sales
  • Bonus on one article is capped at Rs.1000
  • Bonus slabs will come into effect only when sales after exclusions is at least Rs.25,000 and at least 25 unique articles are purchased in the month
** Article level exclusion for Bandhan Bonus:- All liquor, tobacco & baby foods.(sugar purchases are considered for arriving at bonus slab – no bonus is applicable on sugar purchases)…The Bonus on Oil & Ghee is limited to 0.5%


What is the validity of the bonus reward?
The Bonus reward given as per the program will be valid for the next 3 months from the date of accrual. If the bonus reward is not redeemed within the validity period, the same will lapse (For Eg. Bonus credited for the month of Jan’14, will expire on 15th May’14).

What is the Qualification criterion to Remain in this program?
Purchases need to be made atleast once in 3 months to remain in the Bandhan Programme.

What do I need to do to enroll in the program?
How do you become a Bandhan member? It has to do with your purchasing patterns at METRO.

How you can become a METRO Bandhan Gold member:
  • Purchase at least 60,000 in 3 months
  • Purchase at least 25 unique articles in 3 months
  • Purchase every month for 3 months

*All the above criteria must be met over 3 consecutive months for a customer to be upgraded into Bandhan

Please note: The qualification criteria mentioned above are only indicative. Actual qualification for METRO Bandhan is at the sole discretion of METRO Cash & Carry India Pvt. Ltd. and can be changed without prior notice.

Once enrolled, to remain in the program, you need to purchase at least once in 3 months.

How will I know that I have been enrolled in the Gold program?
You will be getting a call from our call center along with an SMS confirming you about your Gold membership. Additionally, on your next visit to the Metro Wholesale center, you will be informed by the Customer Entrance team about your enrolment in the Gold program and your current Metro card will be exchanged with a Gold Card.
