During this period, METRO customers can avail cashback vouchers of INR 500 & 1000 on purchases worth INR 5,000 & 10,000 respectively, along with additional cashback of upto 20% from third party vendors. To strengthen the agrarian eco-system, METRO runs a DIRECT FARM programme wherein it has set up six collection centers to procure fresh Fruits and Vegetables directly from farmers. The company sources over 12000 MT of produce per annum and the programme has positively impacted over 5000 registered farmers across the country.
