Nashik, 14th September, 2018: METRO Cash & Carry, India’s largest organized wholesaler and food specialist launched its first METRO Wholesale Store at Tapovan Road near Nashik Pune Highway today.
Shri Hemant Tukaram Godse, Member of Parliament – Nashik, Government of Maharashtra along with Mr. Arvind Mediratta, MD & CEO, METRO Cash & Carry India inaugurated the store in the presence of senior state Government officials of Maharashtra, local dignitaries and key supplier partners.
The new Nashik store is the 26th Wholesale store for METRO in India and the third in Maharashtra. Spread over 43,000 sq feet, the new store offers an expansive parking area (for over 140 cars and 100 two wheelers) to ensure a convenient shopping experience for the customers. The new METRO store will generate over 500 local jobs in addition to catering to customers from Nashik and its neighboring regions such as Kasara, Igatpuri, Yeola, Shirdi, Vani, Sangamner, Loni and Trimbakeshwar.
