Asia’s Greatest Culinary Event IFCA to be held in Chennai this year
Chennai, March 20, 2015: Continuing with its initiative to offer hospitality professionals with an interactive knowledge-sharing platform, METRO Cash & Carry India, the country’s most trusted wholesaler today announced the launch of the 6th IFCA International Chefs Conference in Chennai today. Around 650 Chefs of Indian and International origin will get an excellent opportunity to be part of the three-day long event which features some prominent guest speakers from the hospitality industry. As the leading food wholesaler in the country and a supporter of culinary innovation, METRO is the chief sponsor of this year’s Annual IFCA Conference. The Indian Federation of Culinary Associations (IFCA) is a nodal body of culinary professionals in India with more than 10,000 Chefs as members, who are collectively committed to the common cause of sharing cutting edge developments in the culinary arena. IFCA was formed with the idea of developing opportunities for the culinary profession and come together to promote culinary tourism and innovation in Indian cuisine.
