METRO Cash & Carry India launches ‘Mango Hungama’ in Hyderabad
Hyderabad, May 18, 2012: With the onset of the Mango Season, METRO Cash & Carry India announces the ‘METRO Mango Hungama’, offering its customers a wide variety of mangoes at wholesale rates. The varieties available at METRO centres include loose and boxed Alphonsos, Senduran, Totapuri, Baneshan, Mallika, Dasheri, Longra, Salad, Kesar, Chinnarasam, Peddarasam, Chirakurasam and Himampasand, as well as a variety of raw mangoes. These varieties have been sourced especially for METRO customers from farmers in several regions of Andhra Pradesh, including Jaheerabad, Ontimamadi, Nujiveedu, Chittur and Puttryala.
This festival will not just allow customers to enjoy a wide variety of mangoes much beyond the local season, but also allow local farmers to take their produce to a much wider market through the METRO network of wholesale centres across India.
