METRO Cash and Carry celebrates its 8th year of successful operations in India

Bangalore, July 1st, 2011: METRO Cash and Carry India, the international leader in self-service wholesale began its anniversary celebrations with much fanfare across all its wholesale centres in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Kolkata today. This marks the 8th year of the company’s commencement of operations in India. The Anniversary celebrations are a part of METRO’s ongoing initiative to deepen customer relationships and serve them better by understanding their unique requirements.

METRO Cash & Carry India’s Anniversary celebrations begin on July 1 and will continue till July 31, 2011 at all METRO wholesale centers in the country. As a part of these celebrations, METRO has introduced special in-store promotions based on feedback from the customers that are aimed at providing special privileges and value added services to them. Customers can avail of assured gifts and discounts based on their purchases ranging from Rs. 3000 to Rs.12000. METRO’s outlet at Bhandup, Mumbai has also launched an offer of 3 Kgs of sugar complimentary with each purchase of Rs. 1500.
